- Fanny and Her mother come back home and get a note to open the presents as soon as possible so they do and fanny finds a glass dog of her old dog that her dad made her get rid of.
- Fanny wakes up in the middle of the night and cries and is angry and confused why her dad would give her that and thinks about old memories with her dog.
- Fanny is confused and mislead she wonders why her dad would give her a glass dog of her old pet he made her give away she is very upset and writes on a peace of paper that she wants a new dad.
