In Act V, Scene 3, Friar Laurence no longer has to sneak around helping Romeo and Juliet and he has accomplished his goal of the Capulets and Montagues reconciling, but at the cost of his own safety being jeopardized.
Friar Laurence is living his truth publicly after living his truth privately most of the play by explaining the whole truth about the recent events concerning Romeo and Juliet and his part in it.
Act V Scene 3 demonstrates the theme of a person living their truth publicly by revealing all their secrets allows one to put an end to conflict, but can also involve putting one's safety at risk. This scene exactly demonstrates the danger Friar Lawrence is in by sharing everything that happened publicly, even though good, in the form of the families setting aside their feud, came out of it.
