Storyboard Text
- Introduction
- "That's for you royal!" (Hunter 1)
- "Somebody help me!"Why can't I speak??(Hunter 1)
- Conflict
- "He could hear the sound of automobile tires hushed on the rain swept streets..." (Hunter 1)
- "He heard footsteps at the other end of the alley..." (Hunter 2)
- "He could hear the faint sound of music..." (Hunter 1)
- Rising Action
- "I gotta good mind to call a cop." (Hunter 2)
- "You should be 'shamed of yourself, layin 'in an alley..." (Hunter 2)
- "Yes. Yes, call a cop. Please call one. " (Hunter 2)
- Andy was stabbed by someone who dislikes the Royals and was bleeding to death in the rain. Andy knew he was dying and none of this would've happened if he wasn't part of the "Royal" group. He tried yelling for help but noticed his voice had fled from him. He could only hear the hissing of the blood in his mouth.
- Climax
- "Freddie, let's get out of here! Please!" (Hunter 5)_
- He only hoped for someone to notice him and help him out. He "could hear the sound of automobile tires, the footsteps at the other end of the alley, and a faint sound of music" (Hunter 1 and 2). The music reminded him of Laura which eased the pain Andy was experiencing. He pictured his future life that he would be in with Laura but knew he wouldn't be there because he was dying.
- Falling Action
- "If I die, I'm Andy. Not a Royal!" (Hunter 5)
- A drunk man came down the alley and happened to see Andy. The man thought Andy was drunk he had fallen down. The man was probably too drunk to realize that Andy was bleeding to death.  The man said that Andy shouldn't be drinking at such a young age and would call the cops but let him go.
- Resolution
- "A Royal, huh." (Hunter 7)
- "His name is Andy." (Hunter 7)
- A couple had come into the alley to hide from the rain. Andy made a low, animal-like grunt sound which got the couples attention. They inspected Andy closely and came to the realization that he was a Royal. They did not want to get mixed up with this situation so they left Andy.
- "He's a royal..." (Hunter 4)
- "Please. Please help me." (Hunter 5)
- *Grunt*
- Andy did not know why no one came to stop and help him until now. He realized that it was the jacket that was the "stupid meaningless thing that was robbing his life" (Hunter 6). He wanted to be known as Andy. Not a Royal. He wanted to take off the jacket if it were the last thing he would do.
- Laura found Andy in the alley and rushed to call a cop to help him. When she came back with a cop, she realized it was too late and burst out into tears. Despite Laura saying to the cop he was Andy, the cop took note saying "A Royal" (Hunter 7). Laura was the only one who would acknowledge Andy as Andy, not a Royal.
