- everyone wakes up to find out she's gone
- long and wide shots of them all enjoying themselves at the campsite and diegetic sound of the nature in the woods.
- they all return to school (apart from Noah) and find it difficult without jennifer there
- dark shots to add mystery, close up shots to not show exactly what is happening to the viewers with non diegetic suspenseful music playing as she is kidnapped
- each of the five kids are separately questions
- long shots of them looking for Jennifer the next morning and close ups of there confused expressions.
- they are at an assembly about Jennifer's disappearance.
- background chatter and long angle shots of the group standing at the lookers feeling lost and confused without Jennifer.
- long shots, switching form each characters story so they all match up as one story about what they all know about the night Jennifer went missing.
- wide angle shots of everyone at the assemble notifying them about Jennifer's disappearance cutting to close ups of Madison finding the not in her bag.
