Region
This is an example of a region. It has a physical feature that makes it good for growing crops.
Absolute Location
The address is 1111 spooky street.
This is a example of Absolute Location. My friends are inviting me to their exact location.
Relative Location
It’s going to take me another 20 minutes to walk to my friend’s house.
Region is what the common features are of an area. A common feature could be good soil like in the example.
Human-Environment Interaction
Absolute Location is the exact place. For example, an address like in the example above.
Place
The vegetation here is so much different then my house. Anyway, I have to wait for my mom.
Relative Location is a location that is compared to another location. An example is like the example above or the next gas station is 10 minutes away.
Movement
This is an example of movement, My mom is driving me to McDonald’s after I came back from a friends house.
Human-Environment Interaction is how humans interact with the environment. A good example of Human-Environment Interaction is planting trees. A bad example of Human-Environment Interaction is pollution.
A place is the physical and human features of a location. Examples of features are climate, culture, vegetation, and more.
Movement is how people, information, or anything travels from place to place. For example, cars, planes, the internet, and way more ways things move.
