FOIL is an acronym.The letters stand for First, Outside, Inside, and Last, referring to the orderof multiplying terms.
Now, let's use the FOIL method on this equation:(5n + 3)(n + 6).Go through each letter: First – (5n )( n) = 5n^2 Outside – (5n )( 6) = 30n Inside – (3 )( n) = 3nLast– (3 )( 6) = 18
