Jake gets back to the gas station, and searches inside the store, in the back, front, everywhere, but doesn’t see Todd anywhere. Then he hears some slight groaning from a nearby alleyway, and dashes to see if its Todd, and there on the ground laying covered in bright crimson-colored blood was Todd. He was barely breathing, and blood was gushing out from multiple wounds on his arms, stomach, and legs.
Todd manages to tell Jake that he had been stabbed by Kevin and to not trust him. He then asks where Mark is, and Jake immediately turns around to see nobody behind him. “Oh no,” says Jake, who was now faced with an impossible decision, help his friend here or go find his other friend.
Jake decided to call 911 and explain the whole situation, and very quickly ambulances show up, and take Todd to the hospital immediately. They send officers around to look for Mark, and they catch him fighting Kevin, and they are just in time to save Mark, and they arrest Kevin.After all of it had been over, the boys were relieved, but they still couldn't quite trust strangers anymore.
