- Ferdinand is being introduced to Miranda and begins to flirt with her and praise her diligence However, Miranda is betraying her father Propsero after telling Ferdinand her name, feeling ashamed of her disobeying her father.

- I am in conditon, a prince, Miranda. I do think a king! I would not so. Hear me soul speak: There resides to make me slave it, and for your sake am I this patient log man.

- Ferdinand is giving Miranda a proposal of marriage and him becoming a king and her being his mistress. Miranda is not sure about it because now that she betrayed her father, Propsero, she´s deciding if she trusts Ferdinand to go along with the proposal.

- So glad of this as they I cannot be,Who are surprised withal; but my rejoicingAt nothing can be more.

- Miranda
- And mine, with my heart in ’t. And now farewellTill half an hour hence.
- Miranda feels about and accepts the marriage proposal of Ferdinand ´ s love to her. Propsero watches Ferdinand and his daughter from behind his cave, rejoiced and surprised by the plan turning out successful in which he´ll then turn to his book, and starts to get the wedding planned to end the scene.
