- Act 2 Scene 1
- Can I go forward when my heart is here? I have to go back for where my heart is.
- Romeo! Cousin Romeo!
- Act 2 Scene 2
- The night conceals me from them. And provided you love me, let them find me here. i'd rather my life ended by their hate than i live on without your love.
- Act 2 Scene 3
- I want to marry Juliet, can you please help me?
- I can't believe you just went from loving Rosaline to loving Juliet. Anyway this alliance might help to end your family's feud.
- Romeo doesn't want to leave the Capulet's house as he really fells love with Juliet, so he ditches his friends, Benvolio and Mercutio, and hides out in the orchard behind the Capulet's house. Mercutio and Benvolio tries to find him as he could be in a dangerous situation.
- Act 2 Scene 4
- Please tell her to devise out of her house and meet me at confession this afternoon.
- What should I tell to Juliet?
- Romeo listens to Juliet's talking about him at the balcony, then he appears to her and they express their love to each other. Juliet tells him to marry her tomorrow and that she'll send a messenger.
- Act 2 Scene 5
- Nurse , please tell me what my lover Romeo said right now.
- Go to Friar Lawrence's cell right now. Over there, you'll find a husband to make you a wife.
- Romeo arrives at Friar Lawrence's cell and tells him about his love to Juliet, and then, he asks the Friar to marry them. The Friar is amazed and concerned about the speed which Romeo has transferred his love from Rosaline to Juliet, but he decides to help them as he believed that it's going to end the feud.
- Act 2 scene 6
- "So smile the heavens upon this holy act"
- The nurse and the servant Peter come to Romeo. Romeo says to the nurse to tell Juliet to meet him at Friar Lawrence's cell.
- Juliet waits the news about Romeo impatiently. The nurse manipulates Juliet by not teling her what Romeo has said but in the end she finally tells her.
- Romeo and Juliet meet in secret at Friar Laurence’s cell to get married with the Friar blessing them and saying "So smile the heavens upon this holy act".
