- Hello, my name is King Henry VIII . I was born on the 28th of June 1491 in London.
- I am the second born son to King Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. Unfortunately, in 1502 my older brother Arthur passed away only at the age of 15 years old. That meant at the age of 10 I am was king.Then a few years later my father Henry VII died when I was 17 years old, I was crowned king.

- When I was 17 years old, I married my brother’s widow Catherine of Aragon. I wanted a son to carry on his legacy of becoming the next king. Overtime, I became dissatisfied with my wife Catherine’s ability to produce a male heir to the throne. In 1525, I met a ever so fine lady (I in-waiting) in my court, Anne Boleyn and hoped to marry her to increase his chances of having a son.

When Pope Clement VII refused Henry’s request, it made me so furious, so I worked with Parliament to break England away from the Catholic Church and create the Church of England So I would be the supreme authority.

- King Henry VIII got given many warnings from the Pope for getting a divorce which was his choice and to get remarried to Anne. Pope Clement VII issued a Papal Bull, threatening him with excommunication from the church.

- The Councilof Trent was held between 1545 and 1563 in the city of Trent (Trento) in northern Italy. It was the 19th ecumenical council of the Catholic Church, which was led by Pope Paul III. This was prompted by the Protestant Reformation. The council wrote the wrongs because the people were not following the mission of Jesus and social justice. This stopped many of the notorious abuses and introduced disciplinary reforms affecting the sale of indulgences.
