- Contrition
- Ugh! I need to go to Confession but I’m scared.
- It’s ok. Every time I go I feel sorry for my sins and after I go in the Confession stand I come out happy and releived.
- For your penance I want you to say the Our Father.
- Confession
- Bless me father for I have sin it’s been one week since my last confession and these are my sins…
- Blessed me father for I have sinned it’s been I month since my last confession and these are my sins…
- For your penance, I want you to say a Hail Mary.
- Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among woman, and blessed us the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death.Amen

- Penance
- Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.Amen
- In the Act of Contrition, we feel sorry for our sins and try to sin no more. In order to do this you go to Confession feeling sorry for what you did and try to make up for it by trying to not sin anymore.
- Absolution
- I absolute you from your sins in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the the Holy Spirit.Amen.
- Confession is when you walk into the confession stand and tell the priest your sins either face to face or over a screening. When you walk into the confession stand you are acknowledging your sins, actions, expression and your desire for God’s forgiveness.
- Penance is after you say your sins the priest tells you a specific prayer or act to show that we are sincerely sorry.
- Absolution is when the priest acts like the person of God and we are forgiven for our sins or absolutes us by God.
- Amen.
