- We can flee to Austria ! I'll get the children
- As King Louis ignored and refused to abdicate his responsibilities, the middle and lower class had decided that they do not want louis as king anymore and started to rebel. In June 1791, King Louis XVI feared for his life and his family as well. They attempted to escape to Austria, Marie Antoinette's brother was emperor of Austria. They hoped that once in Austria they would be safe.
- I think its time to flee Paris.
- Their attempt failed, however, they were recognized along the road by a passerby who called for soldiers to have them arrested
- OH NO !!
- YOUR UNDER ARREST !!
- The royal family returned to Paris, the King and his family had no choice but to accept demands put upon them by the people and to remain confined to the Tuileries Palace.
