- And I'm Rocko! Im from West Berlin! I came here when my family was invited here! My job is to lay next to the Berlin wall, but I can't be like Olive because I will never get 8 sides, I'm formless.
- I guess you're right. Why do you get to be part of the wall anyway?
- Thats ok Rocko, you still have an important job!

- This is the Berlin wall. It is made up of the octagon family, and when a young octagon turns 8, they get to join the wall!
- Why do we need a wall anyway?
- Why did the Soviet Union need to protect us from them?
- Because the government called the Soviet Union wanted to make sure its shapes were safe from the shapes of West Berlin and West Germany.
- What does tessellated mean?
- The shapes of West Berlin and West Germany didn't want to have a perfect tessellated society.

- Tessellated means that everything fits together perfectly! Look at the orange building over there, thats where my friend Rhonda Rhombus lives.
- And this sidewalk right here is where my friend Sammy Square lives.
- Oah, I see!

- We all fit perfectly, like puzzle pieces! its great when we can work together to fit in!
- But Cindy Circle and Steve Stars family had to move away because their families don't tessellate.
- Skluzavka: 6
- The government chose tessellation because its the most natural way to live. Its like the honeycomb for bees and shells for turtles.
- That makes sense! And it's so cool!
- But I don't fit in like everyone else. I want to fit in.
- You can always go to school and the teachers will help you straighten out!
- Thats a great idea! Lets go!

- Look Olive, i've got a point! i learned all the different places i can live once i'm tessellated. What did you learn?
- Hey Rocko! How's the straightening going?
- I learned that I don't fit in with everyone and i'm sad. Since i'm an octagon, I don't fit in perfectly with the hexagons or squares.
- But that just means you get to be closer to the other octagons, right?
- Oh yeah, the other shapes can't be as close to the other octagons as I am.
- And the cool thing about shapes is that we all don't have the same job or live in the same place! But when we join together, we can make perfect things!

- I want to be just like Olive, she has so many friends.
- As the weeks went on, Rocko decided he didn't want to sit by the wall anymore. And in school, he learned how to be an octogon.
- Skluzavka: 9
- That's awesome Rocko, are you going to be an octagon?
- Look Olive, i'm forming more sides!
- Join the Square club!

- A little while later Rocko got to graduate and become a full octagon.
- Rocko, since you've graduated, you get to change your name now!
- Oh, I didn't think about that, what do you think?
- What O name are you going to pick?
- No, too old.
