Storyboard Text
- It was the Festival of Spring. Some walked, some rode on horses, others sat, being carried in bamboo and bullock carts. A little boy ran between his father's legs, brimming over with life and laughter.
- He was lagging behind because he was fascinated by all the toys.He really wanted a toy but he knew his parents would say no.
- "I want that toy.", he pleaded.
- His father looked at him red eyed, in his familiar tyrant looked.
- He ran to his parents gaily and walked with them for a while but soon left behind, attracted by the insects and the worms on the footpath.
- The child was following the insects. He tried catching them but when he almost did, his mother gave him a cautionary call, "COME, CHILD COME, COME ON TO THE FOOTPATH."
- A flower seller hawked, "A garland of gulmohur, a garland of gulmohur."
- The boy wanted to get all these things but he knew his parents were gonna say, 'he is greedy' or 'It is cheap' or ' You are too old for all this', so he didn't bother asking.
- "GULAB-JAMUN, RASAGULLA, BURFI, JALEBI.' hawked the sweetmeat seller
- There was roundabout in full swing. Men. women and children, carried away in a whirling motion, shrieked and cried with dizzy laughter. The boy really wanted to go so he made a bold request but there was no reply. helooked back but his parents were not there. A deep cry rose from his dry throat. He was scared and crying in real fear.
- A man from the crowd found the boy crying. he carried him and took him to the flower seller, the sweetmeat seller and the snake charmer. He also took him to the roundabout but the boy didn't stop crying. He wanted his mother and father.
- "How did you get here ,child? Whose baby are you?, asked the stranger.
- "How did you get here, child? Whose baby are you?", asked the stranger.
- "I WANT MY MOTHER AND FATHER."
