- More than 70% of students being arrested for school activities are black or hispanic
- Students that are suspended are more likely to drop out of highschool
- African Americans are most affected by the school to prison pipeline compared to whites and Latinos
- How can we fix these problems?Possible solutions to this issue are to increase the number to guidance counselors and social workers, reduce the classroom size, and by adopting restorative practices.
