Darcy invited Tarah to lunch to apologize for her reaction to the day before. Tarah listened and also apologized for her actions too. In the end they worked out their feelings and decided to stay partners.

In her room Darcy saw the same gray car she had saw the day before at the Tidal pool. She considered calling the police but decided that she was just overthinking things. She didn't want to get her mom worried over nothing.
Presentation day
Tarah invited Darcy to go to the tidal pool once more so they could get more useful notes and then work on the project at her house afterwards since they haven't yet started.
Later that night....
Finally some peace
Darcy, Tarah, and Cooper went back to the tidal pool and had a more successful trip this time. Darcy got lots of notes and photos yet all of them still had a great time. Afterward they both finished the project early.
On presentation day Tarah and Darcy got all dressed up and had an amazing presentation which they aced. They didnt only get a good grade tey also got a good friendship out of this project.
Darcy could finally rest easy now that her school problems were gone. As she went to bed she noticed the car was gone and wondered if it was just her stress making her imagine things.
