- Tom decides to take a shortcut one day back to his house. When he goes through the shortcut through the words he sees an old fort. He knew on that land that they made sacrifices to the evil spirit. He encounters the devil while he is there and he offers him a deal. Tom says he'll think about it and goes home to tell his wife.

- As soon as tom tells his wife she takes off with their most valuable stuff to go make a deal with the devil. The wife never returns after that. Tom goes looking for her and only find 2 of her organs but he's glad she's dead.The devil makes several deals with tom but he only agrees to one, being a lone shark.

- Tom goes on to live his life and scam people. He becomes very wealthy but becomes real afraid of going to hell. He becomes religious and prays to god and reads the bible. He does'nt want the devil to come for him but he comes suprisingly one day.
- The devil arrives on a black horse to take tom away to kill him and take his soul.
- The devil kills tom and takes his soul. Nobody knows how he dies or what happen to him. He left his house behind and all his money. After that the whole forest burned down and the next day his house burned down with his horses.
