- Annie it's my birthday tomorrow, and there's a party at midnight. Will you be able to come?

- I can't I have a test
- It's fine, I can't expect others to come, when my best friend Annie isn't even showing up
- I'm sorry Chloe, I can't come
- Later that day in the classroom

- Annie, a wise man once said, "One always measures friendships by how they show up in bad weather." Just because you don't attend the party doesn't make you a bad friend
