- This source talks about how people could get recruited in the Civil War.Some of the strengths in this is a gave a lot of reasoning on how people could get in the Civil War. It also only had one side which is just stating the facts.
- Civil War recruitment:Essential question: Was recruiting young people the best thing they could have done in the Civil War?Question One:What are the requirements for being in the civil war?
- Some of the weaknesses are it didn't really say much abou the people who faked being in the war. About their age and weight.
- But...ManI'm only 15 years oldAnd I have to be at least 18. Uhhh... I am going to fake it and pretend I am 18 years old. I'm at least 5 feet and 3 inches. And I'm 125 lbs. So I think it will be fine
- I will go fight in the War!!!!People will be needing to recruit more people so...I will report to the church tomorrow to go and volunteer in the war.
- Some of the strengths in this source are they are explaining that people were joining the war even though they were younger than the age requirement.
- Some of the weaknesses are it didn't really explain if they got caught or not. Or if the others cared and stuff.

- This is talking about how he wanted to be in the Civil War. But he was too young to be in it. Many people like this person have done the same thing to be in the Civil War.

- I found someone that is under the age conscription. I asked if he would want to trade for me in the Civil War and he said yes. So now I don't have to be in the war.
- This is showing that they didn't care if you are 18 or 15 or any age. They are just recruiting. If you go over the paper than they think you are 18 or over.

- Some of the weaknesses in this source is this source was made in 2006, 16 years ago. Although the Civil War was a while back there could be some information they just found out.
- This is talking about that John doesn't have be in the war anymore since he found someone that could trade with him in the war. To have a replacement, the replacement must be under or over the age requirements.
