- To make these choices, I had to utilise the first and fourth stage of conscience. I considered the affect my actions would have on me and the consquences I'd have to face. As per the fourth stage, I reflected on the legal perspective, considering the laws in society. The law present in my scenario included the law on underage drinking. I feel very proud that I used both the Church's teachings and my morals to aid in the possible solution

- Guys, I wasn't aware that this party has alcohol and no parents. I just found out.
- Don't be scared of a little fun, Dolly. We are nearly 16, it's fine.
- Dolly it's fine, we won't get caught, stop stressing.

- *Inner thoughts* I have a feeling this party is going to potentially risk my safety. My parents won't be happy if they find out. Plus, God won't be pleased with me attending either. I think I should discuss this matter with my youth group leader.

- Okay, I think it's the question time of our youth group session. Does anyone have any questions for me?
- Yes, actually I do. I need some help navigating a situation I am in currently. I have been invited to party with alcohol with no parents supervising. All my friends keep reassuring me that everything will be okay, but I still feel really confused.

- I am glad you consulted with me about your situation. See, there's many verses in the Bible that will guide you through this circumstance. For instance, in 1 Corinthians 6:19, it states that " "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own." This means that we should treat and respect our bodies as they belong and return to God. In your situation, drinking any substance that will negatively impact your body would be considered disrespecting it.
- In addition, Galatians 1:10 questions: "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." This verse highlights the peer pressure you are experiencing. If you listen to your friends and become influenced by their wrongdoings, you are intending to impress them instead of God. I hope this helped you Dolly, see you next week!

- *Inner thoughts* My youth group leader has really helped my confusion. The church's values do not allign with me attending the party. Lying and deciving my parents is also not the right thing to do. Afterall, I will be putting myself in danger and at risk. I do not think I should go.
