Today we're going to be talk about the 4 different transportation systems in Georgia, and why they are important!
What are the different transportation systems?
First lets start with the Interstate Highway System. This system is so important to Georgia because everyone depends on them to transport goods and people. Another benefit of using the Highway System is because drivers can reach almost 80% of Americans overnight.
That is so cool, and also very effective!
The Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is so important to Georgia because it helps so many goods and people get to where they need to be! The Delta airlines headquarters is also located right here in Atlanta, Georgia! They use this airline to carry cargo all over the nation and the world.

Lets move into the Georgia Railroads. Georgia's Railroads are so important because they date back to the 1830s.
Yes! And in 2015 Georgia was ranked number 3 in United States for rail accessibility.

Lastly, we will talk about Georgia's Deep water Ports. The 2 deep water ports are located in Savannah and Brunswick. Its very important because 80% of good that come to the U.S. come through the port of Savannah!
That is so interesting! I never knew that before.
