Um, What is UBD? I have a test on that later today.
UBD stands for Understanding by Design!
What does that mean
Ok. What are the othe 2 stages?
Well UBD is seperated into 3 different stages. The first stage is Esbablishing goals. For establishing goals it is repersented by, "What do students need to learn and be able to do?"
The second stage is Performance Task. In this stage the teachers ask themselves, "How will we know if they learned it?" The third stage is Learning Activities. In this stage the teachers ask themselves, "How will the students learn it?
Ok. So what are the advantages of using UBD?
What are the definitions of some of these topics?
Wow that is a lot but it is really fun walking around town talking about this. Is there anymore definitions these will probably be on a future test.
The definition of establishing goals is "the process of identifying something that you want to accomplish and establishing measurable goals. The definition of bid ideas is "used to ask why someone is doing or saying something." The definition of performance task is "any performance by a learner."
Yes, I have a lot more definitions for you. The definition of learning activities is "activities designed o deployed by the teacher to bring about, or create the conditions for learning." The definition of learning goals is " The definition of learning goals is "applying critical thinking and analytical skills to interpreted scientific data sets." The definition of feedback and assessments is "any response regarding a students performance or behavior." The last definition I have for your test later is teaching and learning which is "a transformation process of knowledge from teachers to students." Do you have any questions?
No that is a lot of definitions but I really understand everything that you said and I really think I am going to pass this test! Thank you!
