- Athena was the daughter of Zeus and the Titan Metis, who could take form of any creature.
-
- Once Metis became pregnant, Zeus visited an Oracle who told him that Metis would have a girl, but if she had a boy he would overthrow Zeus.
- While Metis was in the form of a fly, Zeus swallowed her whole.
- One day Zeus had a terrible headache so he had Hephaestus check it out for him.
- When Hephaestus struck Zeus's head with an ax (godly things), out sprang Athena in full battle gear ready for war.
- That is the story of Athena's origins. THE END.
