- Jordan stays seated, looks at a phone, and mumbles "hey." Ms. Grant sees someone who doesn't care about the job.

- Answering: Do

- At the school store, I ran the register during the lunch rush.
- Jordan gives a specific example from the school store. Real examples prove Jordan can handle the job.

- Answering: Don't

- I don't know.
- Jordan answers "I don't know" or with one word. Ms. Grant learns nothing about what Jordan can do.

- Jordan sits up, nods, and faces Ms. Grant. It shows Jordan is listening and interested.
