- King Louis XVI was known for poor leadership. He spent all the money on unecessary things, made the third estate pay a lot of taxes, etc. The third estate hated him because he made them pay for all his things and treated them poorly.
- Women's March of Verailles (1789)
- The Tennis Court Oath was when the third estate met on the tennis court and agreed to make the National Assembly. They swore to never leave the National Assembly and to make their own assembly away from the second and third estate.
- Execution of King Louis XVI (1793)
- OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!
- The storming of the Bastille was when the third estate stormed the prison and took the weapons. It was the start of the revolution and was a big part of it. The prison represented cruelty and it was where inmates got tortured and killed sometimes.
- The Reign of Terror (1793-94)
- I don't necessarily agree with the revolution
- Send him to the guillotine
- This march was when there was a shortage of bread and it took almost a month's work for a loaf of bread. Their goal was to take bread from the Castle of Versailles.
- We want cheaper bread !!!
- King Louis XVI tried to escape France but the third estate found him and executed him with the guillotine on the 21st of January in 1793. This was one of the most important parts about the French Revolution.
- The Reign of Terror was a time when there was mass executions going on. It was led by Maximilian Robespierre who used to be a lawyer. He executed anyone who even said they didn't agree with the revolution using the guillotine.
