- Around 400 BCE , a prince named Siddhartha Gautama was born in a small Hindu Kingdom near northern India and Nepal.
- This is our son
- A wise men then prophesised that Siddhartha would become a great king or great saviour depending on if the child was exposed to suffering or not. 
- you're son is destined to be a great political leader. Or he will become a great saviour if he is exposed to suffering
- i will shield my son from suffering so that he becomes a great king
- Siddhartha  married at the age of 16 and was on the path to achieving great political leadership.
- I do 
- Siddhartha took a journey that exposed him to suffering, he met a worn out old man, an ill man and a dead man whos family was weeping. After seeing all this suffering he saw  a  calm holy man.He then decided to leave his wife and newborn son to become a religious ascetic.
- i have seen pain and suffering. I want to become an ascetic
- He travelled from teacher to teacher with five companions but he found no enlightenment. He then decided that if there was a balance between both he would achieve true enlightenment. He meditated for 49 days and finally achieveied enlightenment
- I have meditated for 49 days , i have achieved enlightenment.
- At 35 he taught his first sermon and  died at the age of  85.
