- Odysseus and his men went into the cave of a Cyclops. . He had put a stone in front of the door because he was planning on eating the men. They offer the Cyclops some wine to get him drunk. He demanded for more wine. HHis people dont have wine so he likes it.
- " And now tell me your name so I can give you a present as my guest, one you will like."
- "Cyclops, you asked my name; I will reveal it; then you might give the gift you promised me, of hospitality. My name is Noman

- 'Hey,you,Cyclops! Idiot! Well, you got it coming! You had no shame at eating your own guests!
- Cyclops, If any mortal asks you how your eye was mutilated and made blind, say that Odysseus, the city-shaker, Laertes' son, who lives in Ithica, destroyed your sight."
- "The Prophecy! It has come true at last!"
- Odysseus and his men defeated the Cyclops by stabbed him in the eye and escaped by tieing his men under his flock. Odyssus and his men got on the doat and got away, but Odyssus was stupid and yelled abck at the Cyclops. There was this prophecy that Odysseus hands would make him lose his sight hands

- "If you are so insistent on telling me to eat and rink, then free them so I may see with my own eyes my crew of loyal men."
- They had sailed to Circes Island. Odyssus had stayed on the ship. They came to her "shining doors," and she let them in and had some wine, bacon, and cheese. Eutylochus stayed outside. Odyecuss came to save them. She tried to give the magic wine to him, but Hermes gave me an antidote. Cercie turned his men back to people.
