CONFLICT
The whole conflict of this entire story is that Gavin feels left-out in his wife's, Aurora, family. He feels pretty excluded and has no place due to him just marrying into the family.

EXPOSITION
During the first parts of the story, Gavin has been forced to eat the Unknown Taco, which passes in the traditions of his wife's family, which has also been made by David, his wife's brother. He is upset that he has to eat it.

RISING ACTION
After eating the taco, the family is on the road to Laredo for an aunt's funeral. During this, the grandpa calls Esme, Gavin's daughter, Esme'jita, which annoys Gavin. Gavin also tends to throw up in the car due to the Taco having half a can of jalapenos.

CLIMAX
After they arrive in Laredo for the funeral, they start to dance in honor for mourning. Aurora decides to ask David to dance instead of Gavin, which upsets him even further, because this music is the only music he can dance to,

FALLING ACTION
After being forced to dance by Ricky, Carlos runs up crying to Gavin about his grandma Cookie. Both Gavin and Cookie take Carlos outside for a bit to comfort him.

RESOLUTION
Gavin finally comforts Carlos and feels as if he is now apart of the family. In addition to this, Gavin takes Cookie and Carlos to dance.
