Marbury vs. Madison

We are here, at the Supreme Court on February 24, 1803. At this time the court trial for William Marbury and James Madison will take place. The judge that has been appointed for this case was John Marshall.
This trial is taking place because Marbury sued Madison for not sending job papers to him. Before this date, John Adams gave people jobs of judges and wrote out papers for it, yet Madison never gave them out.
