- Persephone was looking for pretty flowers in the meadows
- she saw a yellow narcissus flower, a flower so lovely gods wondered at it.
- As she was about to grab the flower Hades came on a black horse and grabbed Persephone as she screamed.
- Persephone was brought to the underworld by the god Hades
- Demeter heard the screams of her daughter and set off to find her. she met the sun god Helios how confessed to what he saw
