  • I love chewing gum! That means I must be stuck in the oral stage!
  • How Adler Sees Me
  • Ha! I have it easy! Being the youngest means our parents let me do whatever I want!
  • How Jung Sees Me
  • When there's a will, there's a way!
  • Freud believed that we had Psychosexual Stages of our life up to puberty. However, we can get stuck at a certain stage. Therefore, since I love to chew gum, I have an oral fixation. This means I am stuck in the oral stage.
  • How Rogers Sees Me
  • Hey Ruthie! Can I borrow a pencil?
  • Albert Adler believed in the birth order proponent theory which suggests that the order in which we are born determines certain behaviors and personality. The order within our families can cause us to compare and try to compensate to earn power and respect within the family hierarchy.
  • How Eyesenck Sees Me
  • EXTROVERTS ONLY!
  • Carl Jung believed in the collective unconscious, a common reservoir of images/archetypes derived from species' universal experiences. From these Jung created 12 archetypes, testing your personality and fitting archetype. I got the Hero, which means I want to improve the world in any way.
  • How Bandura Sees Me
  • I FAILED my test! It's all my teacher's fault even though I didn't study at all!
  • Carl Rogers believed that all people are basically good until they are impacted by an environment that inhibits growth. When I am in a stressful environment, I can get very mean because I am stressed. However, deep down and normally I am a very friendly person, my environment just effects me and inhibits my growth!
  • Please stop bothering me before this stressful test!
  • Eyesenck was able to condense and formed a list of basic traits that had 2 or 3 dimensions to them. They also believed that these traits were genetically influenced. Therefore, since my mom is an extrovert, I am more likely to be an extrovert as well!
  • Albert Bandura used the Social Cognitive perspective. In this perspective for personality, Self-Serving Bias is often referred to. This is the tendency for people to accept more responsibility for success rather than failures and see themselves as better than average.
