- But, I'm the smallest and youngest Billy goat. Will I not be light enough to be able to cross? I will eat my fill in the green gables across the bridge , and by the time time that I'm done over there, you should be done building the bridge over here!

- "Oh no you aint!" **** "Wha'? I never mean ta' be mean. It's jus' tha' I'm building a brand new bridge, and I don't wan' any of you Billy Goats getting ert' up ere'. It's still jus' too unstable".
- "Well... I s'pose tha' makes sense... Oh alright then. But I don't want ya coming back across this ere' bridge till I'm done, you got tha'?"
