- Even though he is a fellow federalist, and I want to do what he is saying he is asking for something against the constitution. our job is to see if something is constitutional or not and it is not.
- my name is Marshall and I was with Marbury with becoming a judge but it was an act against the constitution the writ of mandamus was not put in the 3rd article of confederation allowing us to do so. So, I voted against him on forcing the president on making him judge
- The NOW Chief Justice Marshall's choice was the right choice, because it allowed the judges to do something called the Judicial review from him remembering that they already have a power of checks and balances that they can use against the president and that is deciding if rule or laws are constitutional or not, and knew that the Writ of mandamus is not a power that the judges are able to use to check the president.
