Storyboard Text
- On a cold windy morning, at Crenshaw and Inglewood street, there was loud coughing and yelling coming from one of the apartments down the street. There's a loud smack and everything went quiet.
- Exposition
- Zion woke up to his dad yelling at him for taking a large quantity of food from the fridge. He physically abused him and called him names because he should've known to leave food for his sick mom. But Zion hadn't eaten for weeks and today was his first day of school. Zion's father was always drunk or angry and would take it out on Zion.
- Conflict
- Zion rushes out of the house with a little food to eat on the way to school. When Zion gets too school he's getting looks from everyone he walks past, though Zion knows he has bruises on his face he still wondered why they were staring so hard. he heard whispers all around him everywhere he went at school, even the teachers talked about one of the students having a bruised face. Zion became known as a thug
- Rising Action
- Zion gets expelled from school a week after his mother dies. Zion becomes what people misjudged him for at first (a teenage thug). Zion is now living a bad life and is now on the streets.
- Climax
- Falling Action
- while Zion is on the streets he finds paint cans and paint brushes lying around, and he paints something reminiscing about his dead mother. A crowd gathers around him admiring what he painted and offered money for it.
- Resolution
- Zion gets seen for the talent he has (art). He gets a job for it and becomes wealthy from it, he goes back home to help his dad and bury his mother properly. Zion also helps others in the same position he was in.
