There was a oxygen leak so the base is not in stable conditions to stay so they're leaving 2 years early which is a big deal because Dashiell/Dash hasn't enjoyed most of his time on the moon (All he can do is stay inside)

Nina wants Dashiell to find whoever poisoned Lars because he has solved mysteries like this in the past for example he figured out who killed Dr. Holtz and he found Nina when she went missing and she's threatening Dashiell with staying for another week on the next rocket ( Hasn't enjoyed his stay on the moon for the most part of it). So, Dashiell tries to find who poisoned lars.
