- The 1st continental congress
- did you hear about what happened at the continental congress? they were taking about getting soldiers ready so that could mean a war
- i did not hear that! that is not good i do not want to go back out to war
- The 2nd continental congress
- I can not believe that we have a continental army there is no point now we will be target for other people
- i think we did the right thing a war is coming we need to be protect or we will all die
- The battle of Lexington and concord
- i did hear and no i do not think it is stupide we are fighting for freedom
- did you hear about the fighting in Lexington? i think it was stupide why do we have to fight it is going it cause more trouble
- In September 1774 in Philadelphia a meeting of all colonies after the Boston tea party to come up with a unified response to what should happen next with the colonies. One of the first things decided that the meeting of the first continental congress they would help Boston. Go get your soldiers ready just in case of a war. Last is they will meet again. Little did they know that the war was going to start before the date.
- On May 10th 1775 in Philadelphia the 2nd continental congress happened and they met because of the New England army and they made a continental army that George Washington would lead
- on April 1775 the first war of the revolution happened a spy told General Gage that the colonists were hiding a large supply of gunpowder and weapons in the nearby village of Concord. General Gage decided to strike at once.The general ordered 700 of his best troops to march to Concord and seize the weapons. To keep the colonists from moving the weapons, the attack had to be a surprise, so Gage had his troops march the 20 miles to Concord at night.
