What is Agriculture?

When many people think about agriculture, they only think about farming. Farming is a huge part of agriculture, but there is so much more to it!
Agriculture includes working with trees to create lumber, paper, and pulp! This is called forestry. Forestry also includes the management of trees!
It includes Food Science! Which studies the chemical make-up of food and helps to improve quality and safety. You can even create new flavors within food science!
It includes animal science! Animals science provides opportunities to work directly with animals or to work with products that come from animals
Agriculture even includes plant science! People in plant science study plants and how they impact our world.
Agriculture includes many more careers and programs of study that weren't even mentioned!
