- Well, she gave it to me!
- Hey! Isn't that my wife's sash?
- With the sash around his waist, Gawain got off his horse and headed towards the Green Chapel, where his fate awaited.
- But it's true!
- Nonsense! Guards, take him away!
- When Sir Gawain went to the back of the Green Chapel, he found the Green Knight ready to give him a blow.
- Please! Give me another chance!
- But the Green Knight immediately noticed the sash Gawain was wearing and questioned him.
- The Green Knight didn't believe Gawain and called his guards to take him away.
- Gawain begged the Green Knight to believe him and to give him another chance, but unfortunately, no one listened.
- The guards took Gawain to the dungeon where he would stay for the rest of his sad life.
