Mohammed the Farmer
The Asking of the King
Rejection
Mohammed was a local farmer in Arabia. He sold various different foods to support his large family. Unfortunately, for the past couple of weeks, no one had been buying his food and he comes home with his cart still full of food. He doesn't have a lot of money at home left.
Breaking the News
One day, Mohammed had had enough. He trekked his way through the desert to the King's excessive palace to beg him for help as he was surrounded in riches.
Visiting the Village
The King, being a selfish man, refused the farmer's plead and ordered for him to be sent out of his palace.
Gold
The disappointed farmer reluctantly tells his family the problem that has occurred. They are horrified when they hear how greedy the King was.
A few days later, the King decides to visit his village, and is shocked when he realises how much misery he has caused. He apologises to his people and decides that he would give each of them a fair share of money.
The King was proud of what he had done, and his people in the village were happy.
