- Kyle is a shy fifteen year old who is also an only child. He lives with his parents in Kansas.
- Beginning of Adventure
- I wonder what NYC will be like
- One day, Kyle's dad got a job offer in New York. They would have to move there for one year.
- Road of Trials
- Kyle didn't want to move. He was used to his life in his small town, not a big city.
- Road of Trials
- I wish I had friends to sit with.
- Kyle realized he had no say in whether they move or not, so they headed to New York to start their new life.
- Since Kyle is not very outgoing and he usually keeps to himself, he has a hard time making friends at his new school.
- I don't know anybody.
- For a while, Kyle sat alone at lunch. No one really noticed or talked to him.
