Berry the Bear is failing his classes at Animal Academy.He hasn’t told Mama bear or Papa bear about his marks.Berry’s report card will be given out later today.
Berry is always one-upped by his older brother and sister Brother Bear and Sister Bear.They are the best Bear Ball and Treetop Tag players.Brother and Sister Bear get straight A’s which Mama and Papa bear celebrate
Berry tries but he can never stand out against his siblings.He thinks he is not special and feels left out when his siblings always do well compared to him.
Berry wants to feel celebrated for once.Berry decides to tell Mama and Papa bear that he got all A’s in school.Berry is lying, he actually got all C’s.
Mama and Papa bear hug Berry and tell him they are proud of him.Berry feels special, he likes being recognized by his parents.But he also feels weird, he knows that he did not actually get straight A’s, he does not know what he should do
Berry does not want his parents to find out that he has done badly in school and that he lied to them, but he cannot get rid of the feeling of guilt.
Berry cannot stop thinking about lying to his parents.He is feeling something called guilt, he wishes he did not lie.
