- And this is a cold desert were the environment is cold and dry. This area is Antarctica the continent
- The Sun's rays are the strongest here and that very little water is available here
- Cold deserts are located at higher latitudes than deserts situated in tropical and subtropical climates.
- Despite these difference both the areas are deserts both having harsh and dry climate with little to no rainfall and only few plants and animals living here
