- Morning Mia! Happy weekend. I'm just going to pop round to Sally's house.
- Okay. Bye.
- I waited in the train station for mum. It was more crowded than usual. I saw Verity from the primary school so I kept away. Finally, mum came and took me home.
- I lay in bed that night unable to sleep. Daisy sat beside my bed purring softly. At least it was the weekend soon. However, I didn't want to stay home.
- I woke up and stumbled downstairs. I was helping myself to cereal when mum came down. She said she was going to Verity's mum's house. I was so glad I wasn't going.
