- What happens to a person when their knees won’t bend?
- Well, new ideas and fun plans quickly hit a dead end.

- And equally hard to stand up for too long.
- It's a struggle to sit through a round of mahjong
- But it's hard to help others when you're not in your prime.
- You may like to contribute by volunteering your time
- All of a sudden your choices are limited, When every step taken is painfully prohibitive.
- Since the subway staircases stopped being feasible.
- Even mass transit's no longer reasonable
- So you're longing for ice and a chance to wrap up.
- It hurts to sit down AND it hurts to stand up,
- Eventually, no other options remain
- Except to stay home and manage the pain.
- Then science presents a fine resolution!
- A magic, metallic, metamorphic solution!

- Now here comes the nasty - a brief interlude - Sure, surgery's no fun but let's not spoil the mood...
- And imagine all of which you'll soon be able!
- It's just a quick stint on the operating table,

- You'll cruise on your bike through the countryside
- And enjoy the pleasures of a simple joyride.
- You'll canvas door-to-door in a swing state
- Doing your part to remove an evil reprobate.
- To welcome a new POTUS with some sanity!
- Then a few months later we'll drive to D.C.
- (That's me!)
- I got both my knees replaced just so I could march here today!
- Meanwhile - back at home - your family's expecting
- Bubbie, come home!
- To put your new joints to the ultimate testing...
- But, when you do venture down you'll be ready to roll!
- Bubbie, I'm hungry!
- Bubbie, Bubbie, Bubbie... Bubbie!!
- Bubbie, where are you?!?
- At times you'll still choose to hide in your hole
- You could sit at the beach and enjoy the breeze
- or take a leisurely stroll through the trees.
