- I know what case you are referring to now but how did I violate the 8th amendment, THAT MAN IS A THIEF!!
- The young man only stole a cotton shirt and you are charging him ten times what he is worth, preposterous!!!
- Well then what should I do to make it right?
- You shall only fine a person accordingly, the 8th amendment prevents cruel and unusual punishments. You will change bail immediately.
- There would be chaos if there was no balance within the justice system itself. You cannot overcharge a peasant like a king.
