Some of the short-term effects that can happen from drinking alcohol are a hangover which can occur the more alcohol you drink, having a hangover can cause nausea and vomiting.
That has never happened when i have drunk alcohol so you will be ok when you are drinking.
They sound like some very bad side effects from drinking alcohol.

Some of the long-term affects from drinking alcohol can be, having a higher blood pressure from all of the alcohol, alcohol can also lead to types of cancer like liver, bowel and throat cancer, alcohol can also cause a weaker immune system and brain damage

They sound like really bad effects from drinking alcohol i think i might stay away from it.
