- Catholic Monks spread religion to "new worlds" - in North & South America
- While the Captains where looking for new lands a lot of the sailors where looking for Gold.
- Explorers looked for spices like - Pepper, Salt, Curry, Basil. Salt helped preserve the spices and food from spoiling.
