- Penelope explained that she had endured many years with the suitors and how she weaved for three years and then unwoven it to make it last longer since she told her suitors that she needed to finish before marrying again

- The suitor finally became frustrated with Penelope and demanded that she choose one of them.

- So Penelope devised a plan that she thought couldn't be achievable.
