  • Hi Helen, my magazine company would like to publish your book the one that is about your life.

  • Why is it important for women to vote?
  • Years past and Helen went to a high school called Cambridge. She made friends, some of her friends learned how to do finger talk with Helen so they could communicate with her.
  • As time went by Helen was in her sophomore year in college when a guy told her that their magazine company wanted to publish her book called "The Story Of My Life," the one that she wrote in college.
  • Helen also became involved in politics. She wrote speeches to support socialism, gave interviews, and wrote articles. Helen also supported the right for women to vote.
  • Later Helen left politics to help raise money for the American Foundation for the blind and the money would be used for Braille books. Helen was so successful that she began speaking in other countries.
  • Help raise money for the blind.
  • Years and years went by and Helen Keller was now at the age of 75 at Harvard Commencement Ceremony, she was awarded an nonorary degree, the first Harvard ever gave to a woman. Later Helen died at the age of 87.
