In this panel, we see a group of painted lady butterflies in their environment, with some of the butterflies being seen with the trait of flying faster than the other butterflies.
In this panel, a forest fire is happening and as seen in the panel, the butterflies with the advantageous trait of getting to fly faster than the average butterfly has really benefitted them in this scene because it helped them with escaping the forest fire. The normal butterflies in the panel are dying in the forest fire due to their flying not being fast enough to escape the fire.
The painted lady butterflies in this panel, are migrating to a new enviroment, due to the change in climate of their enviroment burning down. They can migrate so easily due to their trait of flying at rapid speeds, letting them migrate whenever they want.
In the new environment the new population of painted lady butterflies are living in, we now see that all of the offspring's of the ancestor's who migrated here, inherited the trait to fly at rapid speeds. This is a prime example of Natural Selection because of how the ancestors who migrated to this new environment survived due to their advantageous trait to escape the forest fire they experienced and from this, they migrated to a new environment, where they can mate and re-populate, having their offspring's all have this new trait.
